Brock Pierce is a futurist, philanthropist, economist, and creator widely recognized as one of the original Bitcoin OGs and a true pioneer of the blockchain industry. Credited with helping launch the market for digital currency, he has raised more than $5 billion for companies he has founded and advised.
He serves as Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation and is a co-founder of Blockchain Capital (the first sector-focused blockchain venture fund), Tether (the pioneering stablecoin), Block.one (creators of EOS — the largest ICO in history at over $4B), and Mastercoin (the first-ever ICO). An early Bitcoin adopter and one of the largest investors in the Ethereum crowdsale, Brock has shaped the infrastructure of decentralized finance for over a decade.
